Join us and learn a little about these different historical soapmaking methods and how we ended up with the soap we have today. Class will last roughly an hour, with questions and discussion welcomed after.
Event Details
Where did soap come from, and how long has it been around? From the legend of Mount Sapo to the historic factories in Aleppo, from Spanish Castile and French Marseille, all the way to the American colonies, soap has been made in many different ways, from many different ingredients.
Cost will be $10 at the door. Samples of several soap types will be given to all attendees. We hope to see you!
