Come learn about how the Mighty 8th Veteran's used the principles of aerodynamics to utilize the museum’s newly restored B-17!
This Flying Fortress will be used to demonstrate the science, math and aeronautics necessary to make flight possible. Using a wind tunnel, jet engine model and combustion engine model students learn the history of the science of flight. Students will design and make paper airplanes to test the theories.
We will meet at 10:45 to check in and will last until approx 1pm
This Field Trip is $10 per student and any adults that accompany them will be $5. This includes all taxes, fess & gratuities.
This program is for students 3rd-12th grades.
Deadline to register is October 25th
