The Devon Allman Project with special guest Duane Betts kicks off their 2018 concert tour in April, and we're thrilled to announce that one of the first stops on their worldwide tour is the Tybee Post Theater!
Event Details
After spending much of the summer off the road (and on the heels of a sold-out concert at the Post last March), Devon Allman reignited his career with an appearance at an all-star tribute to his father, Gregg Allman and Butch Trucks at Peachfest, an Allman Brothers-curated festival in August. Chuck Leavell; Jaimoe; Duane Betts, Marc Quinones, Peter Levin, Oteil Burbridge, Dave Schools and many others participated in the tribute.
In December, Devon performed for the first time with his new six-piece band, The Devon Allman Project at the Fillmore in San Francisco and Duane Betts, Dickey Betts’ son joined in. Their 2018 tour features Betts playing in all shows, and one or two other invited guests performing with The Project on most dates. Each night will feature a set of Duane's originals, Devon Allman originals, songs from Devon's former bands, Royal Southern Brotherhood and Honeytribe, along with an encore set including Allman Brothers songs with Devon, Duane and that evening's guests all participating.
