The show is the Official Afterparty following Dickey Betts Band w/ Devon Allman Project ft. Duane Betts at Macon City Auditorium.
What was already a special evening with one founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, is now even more so given the addition of Jai "Jaimoe" Johanson, another legendary founding member of the ABB. These two surviving members of one of the most influential groups of all time will be fittingly reunited in Macon, Georgia. Jaimoe's Jasssz Band's repertoire ranges from new interpretations of classic tunes, as well as original songs that are classics in the making.
A musician dear to the ABB Family, Heather Gillis, has also been added to the billing. Gillis is a young guitarist/ vocalist, formerly of Butch Trucks and the Freight Train Band, who now fronts a talented group of her own that ABB fans won't want to miss! Heather Gillis is the complete package as a guitar player, lap steel player, songwriter, singer and arranger. She and her band have the stage presence and confidence to appeal to a variety of musical tastes be it rock, soul, jazz, roots or gospel.
A portion of proceeds from both of these concert events, Dickey Betts Band w/ Devon Allman ft. Duane Betts, & Jaimoe's Jasssz Band w/ Heather Gillis Band, to benefit The Big House Museum in Macon, Georgia!
