Lacy will be leading the session, and she's got nearly a decade of soapmaking experience from which to draw upon to help you learn.
This time, we'll be discussing how to choose which oils and butters you use in your soapmaking recipe. We will talk about the different properties of many popular oils and butters, like coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, and more, as well as why and how each is used (or not!) in soapmaking. We will discuss how to find reliable recipes and suppliers online, and we'll even talk about how to formulate your own recipe.
Event will be $20 to cover supplies and materials; soap samples and recipes will be provided to all attendees.
