A class focused on allowing the artist to develop and understand the fundamentals of both drawing and sketching. Artist will teach shading techniques, symmetry, and organizing spaces and objects within a drawing according to basic principles of good design and composition. Students will apply the principles and techniques of linear perspective to render the illusion of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface. Students will be supplied in class: Graphite pencils, charcoal, smudging tools, erasers, and drawing paper. Ages 18 and up.
