Memorial Day Weekend is considered the unofficial beginning of summer and we are planning to welcome summer in style with a day full of fun! Start the day at the Kid’s Fishing Lagoon with CCA for the annual Kid’s Fishing Derby, and then head up to Landing
Event Details
This year’s event will include fishing and crabbing tutorials on the pier, short scenic rides in the Rhodes 19 sailboats and Carefree motorboats, and a water rescue demonstration from the United State Coast Guard (permitting there are no actual emergencies requiring their assistance during the time of the event). The kids will be entertained with a variety of activities provided by The Landings Club so that families can meet some of the new youth staff that will be part of the Club’s summer camp and Kids Night Out programs this year. Food trucks on site will be Molly McPherson’s, Chick-fil-A, Leopold’s, and Little Diddles, plus the Tiki Bar will be open for your favorite adult treats.
