La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

Although La Parrilla is a Southeastern chain, this particular one serves as the only Savannah location with the ambiance of a local’s hot spot. Happy hour is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily with the specials and pricing posted in each individual restaurant, but what this place is best known for is its signature La Parrilla Margarita that comes in several sizes. Try the 12 oz., 20 oz., 32 oz., or the whopping 60 oz. size in any of the different flavors. Drink up!

Bull Street Taco

Offering a thorough menu featuring traditional tacos and more, Bull Street Taco delivers great service and quality. The menu suggests asking your server for the craft tequila and Mezcal list because it changes frequently. Bull Street Taco offers tequila and Mezcal flights in addition to the classic house and premium margaritas. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the Smoke & Fire made with Banhez Mezcal, lime and Triple Sec then shaken with fresh jalapeño. Want something a bit sweeter? Sample the Flaca-Rita made with Dulce Vida Lime lightly sweetened with agave. Be sure to check out happy hour Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to enjoy a $2 taco with your margarita.

Wet Willies

If you haven't been to a Wet Willies before, this is your chance! With vats of margarita's and much more filling the walls, it's a frozen cocktail lovers dream. The best part about Wet Willie's is that you don't need to love tequila to enjoy yourself (though, I do undoubtedly love tequila) because they have an entire wall of other cocktails. My suggestions? Bahama Mama, Sex on the Beach and the Margarita!

Stop into one of these restaurants to ensure a refreshing margarita, frozen or on the rocks to celebrate National Margarita Day.
